My great-great-grandfather John Elston (ca. 1830 – 1912) came to Ontario, Canada, from Lincolnshire, England, in about 1851. I have lots of information about his life and family in Morris Township, but his English roots are still a mystery. This site is a place to share the information I have, and hopefully gather new bits and pieces of the puzzle as I go. If you are descended from Elstons (especially in Lincolnshire) and have taken a DNA test, or want to share any other information, please get in touch!
